If I wasn't planning on being a champion I wouldn't play the game. My name is Jocelyn Forest. I'm a 63kg USA Weightlifter ranked in the top three and I've got dreams so big you'd probably laugh at them. But that's ok, I'm used to it.
When I was a kid people told me I was too small to be a softball pitcher so I earned a full ride to Berkeley, won an NCAA Championship & MVP, then played professionally and won a World Championship & MVP.
Then I tried CrossFit. People told me I was too big to be a good CrossFitter. So I won the 2009 Nor Cal Regional and competed in the CrossFit Games.
But then I found my TRUE love. Weightlifting. People tell me I'm too old to be a good weightlifter...
Well, here's to all the small dogs out there with big fight in em. Cheers!
